Skipping Classes

I am a highschool graduate.. sometimes I wonder how I got here. I know that my past highschool experience wasn't exactly aces. I haven't had the best experience and I know I wasn't the studious type. How did I get here? Highschool wasn't always easy, and it wasn't always hard. I skipped class so much in grade 10, and same with grade 11.... but grade 10 was the worst. I swear in one semester I skipped 100+ times... not 100 days of school, but 100 classes at the least. I wasn't a role model for highschool life. If there had been a magazine named "Highschoolers Daily" I would be the WORST candidate. I've learned a lot since highschool. What I learned thankfully, before graduation came around, was to stop skipping and hit the books. I would work hard when at school, go to all my classes, finish homework and what not whilst at school, then when I'd go home, the rest of the day/evening was mine. If you have to go to school, then you might as well make the most of it and work hard whilst you're there. No sense in wasting the day at school doing a crappy job when you could get all the boring shit done and get on with your life. My brother's learning the hard way... I learned before it was too late. I hope you all learn too.
